There are a number of ways you can get involved with BAMHAG!

 

Become a Trustee

BAMHAG is always on the look out for new Trustees who can volunteer their valuable skills in to the organisation. We look for Trustees from a variety of backgrounds and very much encourage those who have experienced or care for someone with mental ill health. Become a Volunteer Advocate

BAMHAG provides training and support for people to become volunteer advocates. Volunteers work alongside our employed advocates and are equally valued for their work. Please go to the Volunteer Project page for more information.

 

Become a Volunteer Befriender

BAMHAG provides training and support for people to become volunteer befrienders to work with people who may be isololated as a result of their mental ill health. Please go to the Befriending Service page for more information.

 

Get Involved in the Link Project

Have your say about services, become a member of our Databank or consultations going on in the district about Mental Health Services. Please go to the Link Project page for more information.

 

Become a member

BAMHAG welcomes people to become members. This enables people to vote on decisions that are brought to Annual General Meetings (such as consitutitonal changes). You will also receieve mailings and newsletters about what is happening within BAMHAG and mental health services in Bradford. Click here for Information and Membership form.
